🚴‍♂️ Cycle tourism: 9 million bikes ridden during summer trips. In 2021-2022, more than 22 million Italians has used their bikes during their days off, especially in seaside destinations and other natural locations. Numbers are expected to rise, as per Confcommercio-Swg.

🏔 ‘Sportumanza’, a project that promotes sports and tourism in the mountains. The innovative project, that has been added to the rich schedule of Bergamo-Brescia Italian Capital of Culture, aims at promoting agricultural, farming and woodland activities in the mountains that have a connection to sports and sustainable tourism.

🦽 Travelin, here’s the travel planner for sustainable tourism. The startup, led by Marta Grelli, set itself up a landmark for tourists with disabilities and for those who received the Invitalia grant.

🖼 Cultural tourism: tourists on cultural trips tend to spend more. The cultural heritage is ranked as the second reason to visit Italy, and cultural tourist spends an average of 93 € in comparison to the average tourist, only 74 €.

✈️ Google looks to social media for some travel searches. During the 2023 Google I/O developer conference, Google revealed a series of updates and new functions that also involve the world of travel.
