On the last week of January, Expirit landed in Cyprus, more specifically in Nicosia, as one of the few selected SMEs taking part in a study visit on how to make our Europe more sustainable, greener and plastic-free.

In fact, the ECOTOURS project, co-funded by the European Union, promotes the adoption of sustainable development practices and turning marginal areas that experience socioeconomic challenges due to the impact of COVID-19 pandemic, into circular, green, and sustainable tourist destinations.
ECOTOURS stands for “Empowering local communities turning them into laboratories for co-development of circular and sustainable tourism ecosystems”, and we are proud to be part of it.
We wish our Head of Operations, Filippo Caciorgna, a safe journey and to make the best out of this experience in beautiful Cyprus.
